Just another quick update to send out. My Co-worker Travis Ray and I took a quick trip into the Menya work to help two new family’s, the Walkers and Osborns move into their homes. It was an in and out operation, only took us two days. MAF’s Twin Otter and NTM’s Cessna 206 hauled in all their cargo and it was our job to get it moved from the airstrip to the houses. Which doesn’t really seem all that hard until you realize you have to find some locals with trucks who are willing to help load and unload everything. But, we didn’t have too much trouble, there are always folks around to help when there’s a Kina to be made. All in all it was pretty easy and the two family’s are settling in nicely. At the moment they’re living in existing homes that belonged to the previous missionaries, who for health reasons are in the states. We also wired some more lighting and some power outlets for them, along with giving their Solar Electric Systems a good once over to ensure they would perform properly. We praise God for allowing these two couples to move in and begin the work of getting the Gospel to the 40,000 + Menya people. Until next time, Lukim Yu Behain.
