Thank you for praying for us during this busy summer. The pace for us hasn’t slowed down much since we got back from our summer travels. We’ve been spending time with as many different friends and family as possible, as well as trying to work through a long list of doctor and dental appointments. We’re thankful for how the Lord is providing for our health needs while we are here in the US, and we ask for continued prayer for wisdom to be led to the right doctors and dentists and for provision of the needed finances. We are thankful that so far no major health concerns have surfaced other than DJ and Tyndale both needing a lot of dental work. Most of our appointments are just for thorough check-ups since we don’t have the opportunity to get those while we are overseas.
We are so thankful to be near my (Jennifer’s) family for a while. Please be in prayer for my grandmother, who has lung cancer. We are making it a priority to spend time at her house at least twice a week.
Areli, Galilee, and Tyndale just started school at Nueces Canyon Elementary, where they will attend for one semester. The girls are in fifth grade, and Tyndale is in second. Last week before school started, a coworker from NTM came all the way from Oregon to Texas to evaluate the girls for us. We are so thankful for her willingness to come and all the helpful information she was able to provide. Please pray that all of the kids will make friends and settle in quickly at school, and that we will make headway in helping the girls to learn well. They show strong signs of dyslexia, which means that they are far above grade level in things like science and math but reading, writing, and spelling are very challenging for them.
Thanks again for following what the Lord has been doing in our family. God bless all of you.
