We are glad to see you made it this far and you most likely have some questions about this blog. This blog is co-authored and focuses on life and relationships centered in the person of Jesus Christ. We are convinced that all relationships or encounters with someone is an opportunity to speak about, to explain, to describe, to clarify, and to give an account of who Jesus is.
“Jesus only” must be the motive and motto of your life course. C.H. Spurgeon
We write on life, ministry and spiritual growth, and sometimes on miscellaneous topics! Most of the time, we relate our own experiences, struggles and joys with these three main themes. In short, we talk about our walk with Jesus within the theme addressed.
We hope that through this, we (you and us), together, will grow closer in our relationship with Jesus; more and more confident in Him and more and more like Him.
We typically post once or twice a week. We invite you to subscribe to our blog using RSS or email. Did we mention we’re on Facebook? Well, we are (like more than 845 million others!), so come and follow us on Facebook.
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Our names are Yvon and Elisabeth Roméus. We have finished our training at the NTM Training Centre in Canada. This was a two year training program to “be equipped for global relevance in life and ministry as a cross-cultural church planter”. The training provides spiritual foundation and tools to be effective cross-culturally. Right now, Elisabeth is helping with the French translation of NTM’s Canadian website; French being our mother tongue.
We are passionate about the Word of God (aka the Bible); we enjoy travelling, and learning languages.
This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 17:3
Yvon’s Testimony
When I was young, I watched a Jesus film. And through the Word of God I came to understand my need of Jesus Christ as my Saviour. Jesus died for the forgiveness of my sins in order to reconcile me with God. Slowly, I became more passionate about the Word of God and the life of Jesus described in the gospels.
Elisabeth’s Testimony
I grew up in a Christian home. One day, my grandmother shared the gospel with my siblings and I, and I made the decision to give my life to Christ for the forgiveness of my sins. When I was a teenager, this decision became the real deal in my life.
