A quick news flash…
We just received our work permits from PNG. This means the government has accepted our family to work as missionaries in the country. Praise the Lord for clearing another hurdle!
this is how excited we were when we got the news!
Our next step is send our passports to the PNG Embassy in Washington to get our visa stamped. We hope to get our passports back sometimes in June and we will be all set to go in July.
Another great news we got recently is that Friends in Action found a container to take our supplies to PNG in May. This is probably at least six months earlier than we anticipated…which means we will likely have our stuff waiting for us in July! This no doubt will ease the transition and help us to get started with national cultural and language acquisition when we get there.
Working on our quarterly prayer letter…coming soon!
