It was a beautiful sunny day until twenty minutes before the big event. We had a tent up (to protect us from the sun), so the guests stayed fairly dry! Can’t say the same thing for the table decorations! We were thrilled to have our whole family together and also to meet Tina’s new family – the Grose’s.

Tina and Chris will be leaving in Kentucky, as Chris is in the service at Fort Knox. Tina is looking for a job in the area. Thank you for your prayers for this special day!

Tina was married to Chris Grose in New Mexico in June. From there we traveled to Montana to spend a week with Jeremy and his lovely wife, Kristie. Then we head to spend the 4th of July with Warren’s brother, Norm and wife, Ginny in Spokane, WA. Soon we were heading south to Weiser, Id for the first of three family reunions that weekend! What a wonderful time renewing friendships and meeting new members of the family. We are truly blessed with alot of awesome family! We even had the opportunity to raft the Payette River -what a blast!

We were also able to talk with many of our faithful supporters and our home church. Valley 4th even had a nice luncheon for us after church. A great time to fellowship with the family at Valley 4th.

We are very thankful for family and friends that opened their homes, had us for dinner and just the encouragement they gave to us! We are so blessed to be in the Family of God.

Aren't GPS's suppose to make your trip easier and faster??

Tina asked us to help her move to Washington State, so we did mid-September. The trip was interesting and a lot different than we had planned…but we do have MANY new memories!

She planned the whole trip, via a stop in Colorado, on her new GPS! But…she hadn’t had enough experience to know certain things to NOT have on her route plan…like ‘walking’ instead of ‘driving’ or ‘not using toll roads’. What should have taken five hours on our first leg ended up eight. And what should have taken twelve hours from Missouri to Colorado on the second leg, took us (with a unplanned night in a motel!) more than twenty-four hours! The final leg was a twenty-eight straight hour drive from ‘the middle of no-where Colorado” to Port Angeles, WA. It was GREAT to see Jeremy and get out of Tina’s little Ford Focus!!

We were able to spend a week there with Tina and Jeremy, staying with wonderful friends in Sequim. It was hard to leave them and the beautiful NorthWest to fly back to Michigan. We are so thankful for a safe – though tough – memorial trip!

61 days; 15 states; 9000 miles and 24 different beds - our trip was priceless!!

We left Jackson June 1 and were able to travel back to the beautiful Northwest this summer. We were thrilled to speak in eight churches, many small groups and visit with numerous friends along the way. We also got a chance to catch up with some family in Chicago, Spokane, LaCenter, Weiser and Boise. We loved being able to share about New Tribes Bible Institute with so many. What a great opportunity to let people know about our wonderful college. Where else can you study the total Bible in two years in such a super atmosphere and for such a good price? We are excited for the 185 students attending Jackson this year.

We are so thankful for the people who opened their homes to us and for the many who made time for us to see them. What a blessing each were. We also very much enjoyed visiting with many pastors and those on mission commissions.

The Lord abundantly supplied for our every need. A few special needs arose while traveling and He took care of those, too!

We truly were blessed by our two months of traveling. It is good to be home (and out of a suitcase) and we are looking forward to what the Lord has for us in the coming months.

Thanks for your prayers.
