NTM - New Tribes Mission | Planting Tribal Churches

After many years of preparation and planning my first term overseas is about to begin!! 

The exciting  journey God has been taking me on is about to change locations from Phoenix, Arizona to the country of INDONESIA! In three months I will start my 3 day trip, with a total flying time of 24 hours in order to reach my new home on the island of Java clear on other side of the world!!

As soon as I land I know my mind will be swimming with thoughts, new sights and sounds and of course mixed emotions. I’m sure that be when I think “What I’m I doing here? Why did I just leave the people I love and the only country that’s ever been home to come here to this place I’ve never been with all these people I don’t recognize or understand…what was I thinking?”

I KNOW this thought will run through my head, I know I’ll be scared, feel unsure of what to do next and maybe even cry…BUT I ALSO KNOW that the truth that has motivated me these last 7 years as I’ve planned, trained, grown, and learning will be what keeps me from turning right back around and hoping on the next plane back to the US.

IT’S THE FACT THAT THE COUNTRY OF INDONESIA ALONE IS HOME TO OVER 400 DISTINCT LANGUAGE GROUPS ALL MADE UP OF PEOPLE THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE IS LONGING TO CALL HIS CHILDREN, ALL WHO DON’T HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE OF HIM, WHO DON’T HAVE A WORD OF THE BIBLE IN THEIR LANGUAGE, ALL WHO ARE LOST IN THEIR SIN UNLESS SOMEONE SHARES THE TRUTH!

That is why in 15 weeks, Lord willing, I will be looking out the window of a plane that is taking me away from the US for the next two years with tears in m eyes but a total peace in my heart knowing that the desire of my Heavenly Fathers heart for all tongues, tribes and nations to know Him is why I’m leaving. Because of knowing the love of my God for me and His love for all mankind I will be heading to Indonesia with a heart that’s ready to be filled up with Him as I start His journey for me with beautiful feet.
