It has been a while since we last updated our blog. Sorry for the delay.

We are so happy with one more addition to the family. On December our son Fabio and his wife Brittany welcomed their second son, Adrian. In January we got to visit them in NY. We were drooling over the kids! We are praying that we would be able to go see them twice a year so the kids won’t forget us.
Valdecio is involved in teaching several classes. Some classes include: Communication Skills, Folk Islam, Romans, Biblical Peacemaking, Student Teaching. We are mentoring students as well. We are so grateful for the privilege of serving our Lord in this ministry.
Valdecio is doing better from the jaw surgery even though he still has a long way to go. The doctor said he will need a bone and teeth implant. We don’t have dates for it yet. As far as my health goes I still have good days and bad days battling the Lyme disease. The doctor put me back on antibiotics and I still have to take a bunch of supplements. Some times it is overwhelming to me.
The Lord has answered us…
We have been praying for some time now for God’s provision for our tickets to go to Brazil to see Valdecio’s father that is very sick. The Lord has heard our prayers praise Him! He provided the funds for the two of us to go. We are so excited!
I (Suzy) never had a chance to go and be with my dad during his last days on this earth and I never had time to mourn with my sister and celebrate our dad’s life with her. I’m grateful the Lord is giving me this opportunity as well.
Valdecio will have a chance to see his dad before it is too late. Even though we know that it will be hard to see his dad in serious condition we are grateful. The family is just waiting for the day that the Lord will take him home.
A Glimpse into our Lives
I ( Suzy) had two surgeries at the same time on Nov 16th.
I stayed at our oldest daughter’s house for my recovery. This was a blessing because I was close to the doctors that operated on me. The doctor released me to come home but I cannot go back to my “normal activities” until April to avoid complications.
I would appreciate your prayers for me (Suzy) for a full recovery.
The semester has started and we have about 125 students.
Valdecio is teaching four different classes and he enjoys it!
It is our joy and privilege to be part of this tremendous ministry in preparing the next church planting generation.
