If I had to read from the language of others, I would not understand. I would not be able to remember all the talk I have forgotten. But I can read God’s Word and remember, ‘Oh, yes, I forgot that.’ Even my daughter says, ‘Mom, go get your Bible. I want to look at the pictures, and you can tell me the stories of Adam and Eve and Noah.’ It is so good to have God’s talk in my own language in order that I won’t forget.”
