You know that wonderful feeling of a promise kept? Then celebrate with us! The arrival of Kodiak #3 — the third and final one — in Papua New Guinea marks the fulfillment of a plan NTM Aviation set in motion three years ago.

But first, give thanks to God, because without His faithfulness, none of the three Kodiaks in PNG would have been possible.  He worked through those who first envisioned, then ...

Kodiak 3 arrives in PNG

Airborne for PNG

Did you check the weather channel lately to track the winds over the Pacific? Probably not. But that’s the kind of info ferry pilot Leon needs in order to plan Kodiak #3’s flight to Papua New Guinea.

And he’s found a window of favorable winds!

Today, April 30, Leon took off from Wichita, KS. Next stop — California.   A stop in Hawaii. A layover in the Marshall Islands. And before you know it, Kodiak N118KQ will be landing in ...

The Final Kodiak Send-off

If you visited the hangar at NTM Aviation headquarters in McNeal, AZ, it would seem a little empty these days. For the first time since June 6, 2014, there is no Kodiak in residence.

Friday, April 1st, the third and last Kodiak destined for Papua New Guinea took off for Wichita, KS, to undergo the final outfitting for its trans-Pacific ferry flight. It was a bittersweet parting as NTM Aviation staff took their last photos with this God-given airplane and prayed ...

The Countdown Begins

‪#‎Flashback‬ In 2003, Jon made his first trip to Papua New Guinea, where he was praying about his future as a NTM missionary pilot. So exciting to think we will be heading out, Lord willing, THIS Sunday Feb 7th, back to Papua New Guinea!!! ‪#‎newchapter‬

Hab 3:19 “The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, He enables me to tread on the heights.”

Another one Flies Away!

DSCF3414-2Glowing from the rising sun, the second Kodiak bound for Papua New Guinea departed January 11 for Wichita, Kansas, piloted by International Chief Pilot Daren Spence and accompanied by maintenance specialist Ace Glidewell.

It seems like the beginning of a long journey, but really it’s just a stepping stone in our walk of faith. There have been many that have gone before us and more who will follow till this job is done.

Many played a significant part in some way ...

A Family Affair

Posted by:

We often share with folks that it’s our heart’s desire this work we are privileged to participate in be a family ministry (not just daddy’s job).  We wanted to give you a glimpse of one way that played out with our own immediate family and the broader family of our sending church body, impacting the extensive family that is the body of Christ…

Late October brought with it a unique opportunity as the NTM Aviation team prepared its new Kodiak aircraft ...
