One of Ginger’s favorite seasons is fall. We knew we were coming to the States late in this season, and her desire was that the Lord would save a few colorful trees for her to enjoy. God is so good even to answer such whimsical desires! The trees directly outside our window are very beautifully colored, and have retained their leaves for us to enjoy, despite the snow that later graced their branches as well.
We were able to visit an apple orchard on the last day it was open, enjoying all the fall favorites there, like choosing our own pumpkin to take home, as well as yummy donuts and apple cider. While it was chilly, we all enjoyed having this opportunity. We look forward to experiencing each season as it comes, praising the Lord for the unique beauty and activities in each one.
Shortly after our visit to the orchard, Michigan received its first snow, and we have been blanketed with this white carpet ever since. Stay tuned to see how the Lord provided winter clothes for our family!
