Hi!

We are doing well here at the M. Training Center.

For the last few weeks I (Scott) have been watching Benjamin in the mornings so that Edina can be in classes. He has had 4 ear infections, a couple of colds and the flu so far this semester!  I am learning what it is like trying to get ministry things done while taking care of a 17 month old little boy who is very active……as well as trying to teach him the basics (colors/ numbers/ etc) and feed him and just spend time with him. I’m pretty tired when Edina gets home!

Our plans for this summer are coming together. The Lord provided for us to purchase tickets to Hungary. (PRAISE! PRAISE! PRAISE!)

We have an opportunity to speak in several churches over there and are looking forward to the opportunity to share about tribal missions….. something that the believers in Hungary have hardly ever heard of.

We will be flying out on the 1st of July and returning on the 2nd of August.

Please pray

* for a productive time of  raising up partners who will join with us in this ministry and challenging others to pray about reaching those who have no opportunity to hear the gospel. We are also looking forward to spending time with Edina’s family and our friends and home church there.

* We will be in Michigan from June 18^th until July 1^st to spend time with our sending church and family and friends before we fly out. Please pray with us that we find a place to stay for that time.

*Also pray for me and my ministry here. Things are heating up in the realm of surveying. We are breaking ground on a new all-purpose building in the middle of May when the students leave. It requires a bit of preciseness to get everything placed where it is supposed to go. So please pray for Bob and I as we work with the construction team to stake things out at the correct location and elevation. It involves not just the new building but new roads, utilities, culverts, drainage, ditches etc. which all have to be worked around some existing utilities which we don’t want to move. (Inches matter on this project)

* Please pray for Edina that she will be able to concentrate on classes and home work till the end. It is easy to check out mentally just before the end of the semester.

* We are looking to the Lord for providing for our dental work which we would like to get done in Hungary (it is a lot cheaper there)

Our PRAISES:

• Edina is overwhelmed (*in a good way*) by all the things that God`s been teaching her. Big things, little things, hard things, pleasant things….. dear Lord, keep them coming! J
• We are grateful for you, dear supporters. God is supplying for our needs through you! Thank you!
• Edina and I have been staying healthy which is great!
• We are super grateful for our upcoming trip to Hungary!

Scott and I are preparing to go to South East Asia, move into a tribe, teach them about God and translate the Bible in their own language.

My first semester is almost over!!! Wow!

I must say it was not easy! But through many challenges I learnt something very important, to depend on the Lord for everything. (Ok, maybe I should say, “I am still learning this”) �

There were a lot of new challenges that I had to face daily, like going outside to shower or do laundry, being home with a sick baby for weeks, or just to be so far from friends and family. I also seemed to catch any sickness that was going around.

But I know that I have so much to learn yet!

Now as we are finishing up classes and preparing for the break I am excited to go home to Michigan and see friends, family and church. Unfortunately we were not able to visit my family and our church in Hungary, but the Lord knows best. And we trust that.

We are leaving for Michigan on the 19th of December, probably early morning like 3am.

We are planning to visit in Jackson Dec 27-30.

Coming back to Missouri on the 8th of Jan, 2010.
