NTM - New Tribes Mission | Planting Tribal Churches

Scot and April are missionaries with New Tribes Mission. 

After serving as an associate pastor and then senior pastor for a total of three years, April and I were challenged to be involved with Tribal Missions.  We believe that God wants His gospel to go to every tribe – no matter how isolated those tribes might be.  We also believe that missionaries need to be well grounded in the word of God in order to be effective in ministry and persevere in a healthy walk with God.  For that reason, we are thrilled to serve at New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson, Michigan.   God has given us the opportunity to invest our lives in those who are training to be missionaries – training to take the gospel to the ends of the earth! 

Scot’s Ministry:  Scot teaches several classes including Genesis, Leviticus, Acts, Romans, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, Bibliology, Christology, and Soteriology.  He also serves as the Dean of Education. 

April’s ministry:  April enters the student’s grades into the database, serves as the liason for adjunct teacher’s making sure they have everything they need while on campus, and most importantly she takes care of the rest of us! 

Not only do we have a formal ministry in the lives of our students, but since we live on campus, opportunities abound for informal discipleship. 

We have three beautiful kids – Jon Wiley (6), Madison (2), and Sadie (born July 15th, 2010).
