Ryan and Lisa Worley Ministry, Moments, and Memories
I love this picture and the quote, and this graphic is one that I use a lot when I have the opportunity to speak to the student body about evangelism. We serve an amazing God that is at work in this world, and a God who desires to use us in those situations that are both wonderful and impossible. We never would have guessed that we would have been here in Waukesha at this point in our lives. However, God loves to do what we least expect. In Isaiah 55:8-9 God says,
‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways’, declares the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.’
Although we never saw ourselves here in Waukesha doing what we are doing, we are thankful to the God who sits enthroned over the earth for where we are, and what He is choosing to do in us and through us, to those around us. We continue to walk by faith, trusting the God whose ways and thoughts are far beyond our understanding.

This past weekend seemed to come and go with incredible speed, and if truth be told, it’s now Monday, as I write this!
This weekend brought the arrival of Caleb’s birthday! That’s right, this past weekend we celebrated his 6th birthday. 6 years old! Wow, where does the time go?

Getting so old!
Caleb, with one of his presents!

Caleb and Samuel
Samuel loves his brother, as does Caleb, but I think in this picture, Samuel might love the mixing whisk more!

Eliana and Caleb
Eliana and Caleb are the best of buds, and they love spending almost every hour with each other. It’s hard to believe how fast they are growing up!
Thanks for dropping by, and see ya next time!

“For He Himself (Christ Jesus) is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity…so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.” - Ephesians 2:14-16
The body of Christ, or the Church, is something unique, and special. It incorporates anybody, and everybody, that believes in Christ. It bridges cultural and ethnic boundaries, unites both rich and poor, and establishes peace, were there was once enmity. It is a beautiful thing, a mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints.
Anytime we have the opportunity to fellowship with a group of like minded believers, it’s a treat. Despite backgrounds, or upbringings, there is a unity that can be felt between everyone, because of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. With the arrival of the Church from San Antonio we have had the opportunity, to not only fellowship with like minded believers, from somewhere else, but also to accomplish a lot of things around the property of the Church, and to reach out to the local community. Below are some pictures of things that have been going on this week. Enjoy!

Majalka – Home away from home!
We love to be out doors! Be it camping, hiking, climbing, or just being, we love to be in God’s creation, and when you are in God’s creation, you can’t help but think of Psalm 19:1-2;
v1. “The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
v2. Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.”
“What is Majalka?” you might be asking. The basic answer to that question, is that Majalka, is a State Park that is outside the city of Chihuahua. The deeper answer to that question is; Majalka was a place of refuge for the weary soul! It was a place to get away from the stress and struggle of the city, and retreat into the glorious creation of God. During our 2 1/2 years in Chihuahua, we made several trips out to that special place, both with friends, and just as a family. One trip in particular, we had been there in Majalka for about 4 days. As we were preparing to get ready to leave, Eliana broke out into tears and sobbing said, “I don’t want to go back to the concrete!” Oh, from the mouth of babes.
Below, we will take you on a journey through Majalka, as we stroll through memory lane. There are not a lot of photos, but enough to capture the time, and place of that special “home away from home.”
