Avery
Our little light of our life is getting so big, each day we see him changing and growing……..bittersweet actually. I was just talking to Ryan yesterday telling him, "remember when Avery was so small?"
What a blessing before the Lord it is to raise Avery. Our prayer is that he will want to know about our Lord and Savior.
Thank you family and friends for praying….we love you all and pray for you too.
I (Shelby) will be heading to Houston with Avery to see Ryan’s mom for Spring break. I am super excited!!
Love to everyone!
Spring Trot-Line Fishing!
Well spring trot-line fishing is back! I am so busy here it’s nice to just set out a line and let it fish for me
I don’t have a lot of time to pole fish. Anyways, Shelby and I love giving our catfish away to people. Catfish goes for like $6.99 a pound these days, so it’s nice to be able to catch a ton and give it away for free to bless other people. As some of you start up the spring fishing this year, I want to encourage you as well to think about sharing it with others as well! It’s so awesome to be able to use our hobbies to glorify God isn’t it!
New Update!!!
Electricity, power invertors, light switches and surge suppressors………What do they all have in common? Items needed for the missionary in the tribe!
Today we learned about basic ac electricity/switches for the house we will someday have in the tribe. Very needed tools for the field. We also had prayer emphasis today and we focused on the fields of Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia, with some different prayer requests from different missionaries. It was a time of lifting their requests before our Great God!
Ryan goes to his work detail everyday from 2:30-5:00. In order to keep costs low here at school, the students work around the school (e.g. janitorial, carpentry, grounds crew, etc). He is learning awesome skills, that will be come in handy.
Need a new laptop…
We just found out today we need a new laptop for an upcoming class. We will be using a program called CLA-Ware. This software is for helping us with culture and language on the field. It is a field requirement. Our laptop is 5 years old now and does not meet the software requirments of the software. Please pray that God will bless us with a new one!
Baby Avery or should I say BIG baby Avery
Hi Everybody!!
I am now almost 5 months old and enjoying life as a baby!! Here’s some updates on me:
-I had my first rice cereal. I didn’t quite like it very much. Mom doesn’t think I’m quite ready for it, so she stopped giving it to me, good thing cuz I’m way happier
-I sleep 11-12 hours every night and my parents always tell me what a good boy I am for sleeping. Gee, I thought they would want to party every night!! Party in my crib
-I am 18lbs about, it’s been a month since I’ve gotten weighed so Mom is just guessing.
-I love skyping my friends and family. It’s so fun to look in the camera, I think my Grandma and Grandpa are really in that camera, cuz they always talk back.
-I definitely have the world’s largest cheeks, Mama and Daddy are always kissing them.

• Effective Parenting – Basically raising kids on the field, and what schooling options will be best for your kids.
• International health and wellness – Staying healthy on the field and how to treat common problems faced on the field.

• New Testament Church Planting – How to plant a church in a tribal setting and understanding the church Biblically.
• Outreach – We all are engaged in a outreach while we are here.
• Romans – Taking a look at Christian life biblically.

We’re back in MO
Hey Everybody!!
We got back here around the middle of January and we had our first day of orientation again welcoming the new students here on campus. This semester of classes will involve various classes like learning about giving shots, homeschooling/educating our children, cooking, and so many other invaluable things that we will need to know while being overseas.
Can’t wait to embark on this semester! Will keep you posted on our classes
Love and God Bless
Ryan, Shelby, and Avery
Thank you for your PRAYERS!!! Remember there are 2500 tribal groups who still have yet to hear. Pray for the tribal group we will be ministering to as soon as we can get there! Hold them in your prayers, they are your future brothers/sisters in Christ.
Thanx!!
Baby Avery is here
Baby Avery Ryan Webb was born to us October 14th, 2008 at 7:55 a.m. via c-section. The cord was around his neck, he was breech, and his amniotic fluid got WAY to low to deliver normally.
We’re so happy he’s here and will be posting pictures soon! Thanx for all the prayers and support! We’re so glad to have our little blessing!

We are currently taking turns teaching Children’s church at our local church. It’s a blast and fun to be involved.
Only 3 weeks till the baby is due!! WOOHOO! Shelby and I are anticipating his arrival.
Thank you Second Wind family, and friends for your giving over the last couple months. As you can imagine, finances are tight with the baby coming, so you guys have been a HUGE blessing with the gifts you have given us. We’ll continue to keep you updated.
To our church family, can’t wait to see all of you at Christmas!
