2010 almost done!
Wow, I can’t believe we’re here again, at the end of a year. Some highlights: 1.Traveled all around NE speaking at churches and with various individuals from February to May making more and more people aware of tribal missions. 2. We were blessed two go on 1 family vacation with Ryan’s parents and 1 family vacation with Shelby’s parents/family. We had an awesome time spending quality time together since it’s our last family vacations for four years since we’ll be overseas. 3. Welcomed the birth of our beautiful daughter Rylynn Dawn Webb, born 10-14-10 at 3lbs. 8 oz. She was in the NICU for 1 month. Currently her weight is a little over 6lbs and she’s doing really well. She’s even starting to get chubby cheeks, so glad for winter weight for her:) Her nickname is “Little Bit” and it so fits her. 4. Avery turned 2 on the same day as 10-14; him and Rylynn share the same birthday! We are currently finding ourselves in the busyness of potty training, disciplining, laundry, dirty burp rags, changing diapers, reading books to Avery, emailing friends/family, multiple Bible Studies, jail chaplain for Ryan, and so on! We love the stage we’re in, completely exhausting but so worth it too! We want to thank each and everyone of you that supports us both financially and prayerfully! What a blessing you all are to us! We’re praying for each of you and trust the Lord is going to work in you in 2011! Look out for Jan-Feb 2011 update! Thanx again! Ryan, Shelby, Avery and Little Rylynn.
And then there were FOUR!
For Avery’s 2nd birthday (10-14), he received a baby sister as his present. Rylynn Dawn Webb came 8 weeks early due to some complications. She weighed in at 3.8. She’s currently in the NICU and we’re not sure when we’ll be able to take her home. We have been making the trip up to see her everyday. Pray for strength for us as we see her and strength for her little body to grow! The Lord has shown Himself so faithful and so secure! We praise Him for His goodness!!!
Teachable twos?? You betcha!!
Hi Everyone!!
-It’s exciting to see where God has taken us thus far. We’ve been so encouraged in this phase and trusting that God is in control in raising our support. Currently we are 40% of the 60% needed to serve in Papua New Guinea. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness!! We ask that you would pray for more monthly financial prayer supporters who have a burden and heart for reaching the unreached of Papua New Guinea. Will you pray with us please??
-Avery’s corner: I called the post “teachable twos”, simply because that is the phase we’re in…..I refuse to call it the “terrible twos”, although I will admit, sometimes it does feel “terrible”…..I see it more as an opportunity to teach Avery the things we want him to learn. We taught him how to say “Jesus” and he points to the sky when he says it. I find myself as a parent, constantly praying that his little heart will be softened for the Lord more and more over the years.
Baby #2-is doing well. We’re 25 weeks and feeling really good. We will go back for an ultrasound at 28 weeks because they couldn’t see the baby’s heart very well to measure it. Nothing wrong, it was just the position she was in…..
-In the midst of traveling to see family/friends, I (Shelby) have been to so many garage sales, buying clothes for 4 years for Avery and 4 years for baby. Don’t worry, I haven’t gone nuts yet:) Ryan and I have been planning and preparing for our April departure, by organizing our stuff, and making lists and more lists.
-Ryan “goes to jail” weekly. I just had to word it that way:) Actually he is a jail chaplain at the local jail here. It’s been a huge blessing for him, week after week, to teach the men there. Pray for softened hearts for them. Women’s Biblestudy starts back up for me in September and I am so excited! We will be going through Jeremiah!
Pray for us that we would stay encouraged and uplifted!!! We’re excited for the road ahead! Thanx for following us on this Journey!!
4 year anniversary and continuing to press on……

The Webbs are adding a new addition to their family -coming soon-December 4th, 2010
Well this Thursday marks our 4 year anniversary for Ryan and I. What a blessing and joy it’s been to be on this “ride” with him. 4 years of alot of happiness, 4 years of a lot of good growth in our marriage, 4 years of a lot of laughing, 4 years of a lot of adventures. One fact stays the same, God never changes and Ryan and I can guarantee He’ll guide us and show us so much if we just follow Him daily!
We’re about 40% of our recommended monthly support for Papua New Guinea. We also have around 2/3 of our initial set up costs already saved up. We’re still planning on departing next spring (probably April or May). And surprise: We’re pregnant with Webb baby #2. Due December 4th, 2010. Everything so far looks great and healthy!
We’re back in Colorado (as this is our home base), we’re excited to be plugging into our church here, fellowshipping with the believers here, serving where we can, and enjoying God’s Word together!
Thanx for being dedicated in bringing God’s Word to a people who have never had it before, may we all press on to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus! Thank you for partnering with us!
Because He said Go,

Onward we go……
Hey Friends,
In one weeks time, we have gained two (couples) monthly supporters, who are excited to partner with us in reaching the unreached of PNG!!! What a blessing and honor it is to partner with these couples. We have also gained one prayer supporter and that is a blessing also. We covet your prayers!!!
-Here’s some prayer requests off the top of my head:
Wisdom in raising Avery.
Clarity with speaking at different churches and various individuals, to encourage them to spend their time wisely, in the light of eternity.
Look at the Future:
For the next 6 weeks, every Sunday is booked up with speaking engagements!! Praise His name for His faithfulness. If you would like us to share with your Church, Bible Study, Sunday School, VBS, or just share with you personally, we would love too. Feel free to contact us and find us on Facebook (Webbs Going Tribal). Until next time!! The Webbs
Prayer 3/18
Last week Shelby and I were in Central City, NE speaking at 2 different churches. We spoke at Community Bible church, and E Free. As usual, it was a huge blessing getting to see my other brothers and sisters in Christ in that city. We were very encouraged by them, and we hope we were an encouragement to them as well, that we all may press on and fight the fight of faith together! Please pray for us this week as we will be teaching sunday school, and sharing about world missions at the Berean Church this Sunday.
-Ryan & Shelby
P.s. Avery is still getting a ton of teeth in and he has been quite the sport as we’re busy every Sunday and he catches naps when he can!
20% and counting!
Ministry Update:
Praise God we have been very busy speaking at churches every Sunday! Currently we are at 20% of the monthly support needed to carry out this ministry. Please pray with us that God will raise up committed financial partners in this ministry to the unreached in PNG!
Family Update:
Shelby and I have had our hands full with our little guy, Avery! He has more teeth coming in, and has been a little cranky lately. He is starting to attempt more words, and loves eating his food with his spoon. We are currently staying with Shelby’s parents in Valentine, NE. This has been a wonderful blessing, and great time catching up with them.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray for committed financial partners, for this ministry.
- Pray that Shelby and I will continue to stay close during the busy time of partnership development.
- Pray for the unreached people groups of Papua New Guinea, and Lord willing, the tribe God is preparing for us.
Exciting times….
Well, we’re here in NE for the time being, and settled in. Good to stay with Shelby’s parents. We have been filling our days contacting churches/individuals to see if we can speak at their church and share God’s heart for Tribal missions!
This last Sunday we were at First Baptist here. What a blessing those folks were as we shared ours and God’s heart for missions. We really felt blessed in being there and we’re praying in turn, that they’re blessed.
Shelby and I have committed to praying for at least two individuals that heard us speak, to partner with us. We’re praying that God would lay it on their heart and they would respond. We invite you to pray with us too. We’re trying to pray for individuals out of churches that we speak at, to partner with us, if the Lord so leads them!
Well, supper is calling!!
