As members of New Tribes Mission, in partnership with our sending churches, we are living in the region of Papua in the country of Indonesia. We are involved in the beginning stages of tribal church planting as we continue studying the national language/culture, with the goal of deepening our relationship with the National church, in order to build her up as we pursue our goal. This church planting process from start to finish usually is about a 10-15 year process. The process of making more and better disciples is not something that can be microwaved. A crockpot cooking approach is more effective and long lasting
Indonesia has hundreds distinct language groups with unique and different cultures. Many still do not have the Bible in their language nor have they heard an accurate presentation of the gospel in their heart language.
Ministry responsibilities:
-Full time involvement in Indonesian National language study.
-Demonstrate Christ’s love to people by actions and words
-Deepening our relationship with the national church.
-Work closely with NTM leadership to determine the best fit for us in a future ministry.
