As many of you know, Phil is overseas participating in a series of meetings. Please pray for him as he interacts with people there and also for safety as he travels home next week.

We celebrated Christmas a few weeks early with Phil’s family this past weekend. We had a great time swapping gifts, eating GREAT food and just hanging out together for the day. So thankful to share this special time with those we love.

Thursday we head up to Spokane, WA to spend the remaining holiday time with my (Elin’s) family. Really looking forward to seeing them again and spending time together.

Part of the fun was a Christmas wrapping paper fight – when you don’t have snowballs, you improvise!

To end the day of festivities, the kids went with their aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents to see the amazing display of lights in Mount Dora, Florida.

Elias celebrated his 10th birthday this past week with a series of parties! Last Saturday, we started off the celebrations with a poolside Lego party for his friends from church, school and beyond. Then, on the 25th, his actual birthday, we had another party for close family. Finally, in a few weeks we will celebrate yet another time with the whole family in an all-inclusive birthday which will include all of our families’ September birthdays (3 in total). Non-stop fun!!
