Paul and Andrea Wilson

Missionaries to Papua New Guinea

About

Paul working on a 206 Paul is an aircraft mechanic (“aircraft engineer” on this side of the world) with New Tribes Mission Aviation. The fleet of aircraft that we maintain includes five Cessna 206′s, a Beechcraft King Air C-90 and a Bell Long Ranger helicopter.

Papua New Guinea is a very rugged country with dense rain forest covering most of the land. What can take days to hike on foot and/or travel by canoe, will only take minutes by air. With numerous missionary teams located out in various tribes around the four regions of PNG, our aircraft are a welcome sight and sound to our bush missionaries.

Paul thoroughly enjoys the skills that the Lord has provided. Helping keep this fleet of aircraft flying safely is a joy, especially when we here the reports of new believers from our team mates out in the bush locations.

Andrea in officeAndrea works as an administrative assistant at our New Tribes Mission Aviation hanger.  She offers administrative assistance to the team while also helping to take care of the basic accounting and “paper-processing” that needs to happen.

Being able to offer support, either aircraft or administrative, provides our bush missionaries with the necessary infrastructure that they need in order to remain in isolated locations and share the Gospel.
