Our trailers were back to back

Campers were side by side

This year we broke the mold and headed farther north to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for our vacation.

Two weeks out of our summer we reserved for camping in our pop up trailer.  A special treat for us this year was that Nathan’s parents being able to join us.  They were such a help and made this trip one to treasure.

Our first stop was Grayling,MI.  My grandparents and parents were camping in a state forest campground on Lake Margarethe.  I am always thankful for any time the Lord allows me to spend with my family.

The bulk of our time was spent at Tahquamenon Falls State Park in Paradise, MI. From here we took several day trips to see the sites in the surrounding area.  Shipwreck Museum on Whitefish Point, Soo Locks in Sault Saint Marie and Oswald’s Bear Ranch were some of the things we saw and experienced.

We thank the Lord for the finances and equipment to enjoy His creation and our family.  Hopefully you were able to set some time aside to relax and play with the loved ones God has given you this summer.  Click here to see some more pictures from our camping trip.
