With the students mostly gone, how do we fill our time?
Work in the office and at home, building relationships with friends and family and lots of fun!
Josh Mathew, one of Nathan’s coworkers, in the business office has been such a blessing. They spur one another onto love and good works.
In the evenings Nathan takes care of our yard and works on many projects around the house. He is also volunteering at the Christian school where we graduated from and where Leighanna attended kindergarten. They have had some IT needs that he has been able to help with.
Once again I have been freed from my formal ministry during the summer months. This gives me opportunity to visit with friends and family more freely. Please be in prayer for my parents who are undergoing many tests.
Campfires in our backyard and swimming at the school’s pool are what we use to strengthen relationships with a few students who are around and people from our church! Another regular activity for our family is bike riding. We are enjoying God’s creation and keeping busy.

Nathan and Rachel Allen “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
