Since Nathan had US IT meetings in Sanford, we took the opportunity to come a few days early to meet with folks we work with via phone and e-mail. While we were packing for a trip to Florida, we had a hard time wrapping our minds around 78 degrees. Although Nathan wore shorts most of the time, I understood how the Floridians consider this, part of their winter.
It was a wonderful trip. The staff and volunteers were an encouragement to us. We found that it is a storehouse of wisdom and heart. Everyone was willing to take time away from their busy schedules and chat with us about what is going on in their ministry.

Several people provided meals for us. It was a time to reconnect with old friends and make new ones.
