Princess

Homemade cardboard sleds, lots of snow and a competition…who’s in?  This last Saturday Leighanna’s school had their 6th annual Ground Hog Day Derby.  It ended up being a great family project.

Design TeamLeighanna told the “Design Team” she wanted a princess look.  Nathan’s dad and sister drew the concept.  Uncle Michael supplied the box.  Nathan and his dad put it together.  Leighanna, Aunt Chelsey, Grandad and Nathan painted it.

Starting LineThe day of the Derby, Nathan was racing back from a business trip in Wisconsin to be the pusher.  We all gathered at the top of the hill to see how the sled would slide.  Roll Over The good news is that it did not flip like some of the other sleds did.  The best news is that we had a great time together and we learned a lot for next year.
