Each month our children’s church program called The Ranch at Rives Baptist has an event on Sunday evening. January’s activity was bowling. Exercise, Fellowship and Prizes were all apart of this fun filled night.
Our brave leader fell outside the bowling alley hauling things in and really hurt her ankle. Thankfully nothing was broken since she has 4 small kids of her own. Even in her pain she administered the whole event including distributing prizes, organizing a singing competition between the kids and adults as well as helping to judge the creative hats everyone was wearing.
Shouts of encouragement and whoops of delight went out all night as kids
and adults alike were having a great time. Leighanna and I bowled on the bumper lanes which was a new experience for both of us.
Every Sunday morning both Leighanna and Emily attend the Ranch for fun, learning and singing. Nathan helps out on the Ranch when he can. I help out with the two year old class every week.
Nathan and Rachel Allen “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”
