“The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

Thanksgiving

Kids TableAs I see my kids sitting with their cousins at the kid’s table, I remember all the great memories from my childhood at Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving is the biggest holiday at on my dad’s side.  It is a celebration of family and friends.  So what if the house is packed full of people.  So what if you can barely move your elbows to eat all the scrumptious food at the table.  So what if there is a pile of dishes to do once everyone has eaten their fill and then some.  The important thing is that we are all together – laughing, eating, watching football and playing together.  Sure it is not all perfect or quiet, yet I love it.  I am thankful for the godly heritage I have.
