Partnership Development

Partnership development is all about building strong relationships with people who desire to get involved with our ministry. When we spend our time traveling from church to church with only a few hours in one spot, we are unable to build those relationships.

On the other hand, if we plant ourselves in one church for an extended period of time we build relationships with the pastor, staff, church leadership, and the body. We get to know them through constant interaction and they desire to get to know us and New Tribes Mission more.

To spread the word about NTM and more importantly the need to be involved in missions should always be our goal. That\’s why we get involved with partnership development and interning at a church is a great way to get people more involved.

Practically, what does interning at a church look like?

It all depends on the size of the church, but the possibilities are endless. It can be helping out in the church office, youth activities, leading a bible study, visiting at hospitals or at homes, making meals, or a million other ideas. It\’s all about getting to know people and being a servant during our time there.

What is a good length for internship?

It takes time to develop relationships and that can\’t happen without an extended stay in one place. 6 to 8 weeks is an ideal time to spend in one location helping in whatever way we can.

When are you doing this?

In the coming months, we have the opportunity to take some time from our regular ministry to work on developing more prayer and financial partners. Pray that the Lord will provide the right place and timing for this to take place.

What can I do?
