Missions Conference this week in WV

Please pray this week for the Goddards:
They will be attending and participating in their home church’s (Grace Gospel Church) Missions Conference in Huntington, WV from September 26 – October 3.
1. For good health for Mike, Trisha, Michael, Lea, and Kaleb.
2. For Mike and Trisha as they prepare for the 22 speaking opportunities in church and in the Christian school.
3. For strength throughout the week.
4. That there will be individuals challenged to be involved in missions full-time.

Praise & Prayer – August 2010

Praise:
1. That Mike, Trisha and kids arrived safely to the USA.
2. For the minivan that God has provided for the Goddards to use while in the USA.
3. For the time in Florida with Mike’s parents and grandma.
4. For the time now in Missouri with Trisha’s family.
Family Prayer Requests:
1. For Mike and Trisha – continued wisdom and guidance from the Lord for parenting our children and guiding them in the truth.
2. That Kaleb will understand the Gospel.
3. For Trisha, as she homeschools Michael and Lea. Before leaving Paraguay, they were able to put in 9 weeks of the new school year and will finish the other 9 weeks during their time in the USA.
4. For good health.
Ministry Prayer Requests:
1. For the Goddards who are now in the USA for 4 months on Home Assignment.
2. For the Goddards as they travel the 4th week of August to West Virginia.
3. For a profitable time during Home Assignment of reconnecting and sharing with their supporting churches and individuals in the USA about their ministry.
4. For wisdom and strength as they prepare a ministry video, prayer card and finish their ministry portfolio.
5. For the ministry of mobilizing Latin and Tribal Churches to continue expanding the reach of the Gospel.
6. For full time coworkers to help Mike and Trisha in Mobilization.

Please pray:
- As we wrap up our ministry (meetings, visiting friends, etc.).
- For good health.
- For us as we prepare our house for another missionary couple to live in.
- For all the misc. things that need done this week (packing, paperwork, etc).
- For safety as we travel this Saturday by airplane to Miami and by rental vehicle to Sanford.
- For a good week with Mike’s parents in FL.
Praise the Lord for:
- What God is doing here in Paraguay through our ministry.
- A mini-van to use while on home assignment.
- Places to stay: Guest rooms, family to stay with during our times in MO and WI, and a home of our own while we are in West Virginia.
Traveling and Meetings

1. for safety as we travel to the Chaco today and return home tomorrow.
2. for Mike, who has a meeting with a Pastor on Saturday morning.
3. for Mike who will be preaching at our church on Sunday morning at 11am.

Thanks to everyone, who prayed for Mike while he was in Colombia. He had a wonderful time and enjoyed the conference on training and mobilization. Mike built many new relationships as well as enjoyed visiting with old friends. We praise the Lord that he stayed healthy and the traveling to and fro went well.
