Michael and I met as children, and were married in January of 2005. About six months after we were married we decided to go to New Tribes Bible Institute. They taught us scripture chronologically, Genesis to Revelation. These were some of the best times of our lives. We grew spiritually and made friendship that will last a life time. We graduated from NTBI in June of 2007. From there we went on to the Missionary Training Center in Roach, MO. During our first semester we were blessed by the birth of our son Hudson. While we were there we studied cross cultural communication, animism, literacy, phonetics, phonemics, and missionary technology. We had the amazing opportunity to study under tribal missionaries who have first hand experience in the tribe. We developed close relationships with some of them, and learned about life in the tribal village.
After our training we returned home to Michigan to begin our partnership development.  While in Michigan we were blessed with the birth of our daughter Tessa. We had a lot of changes over this time and God has set us on a new path.  We will not be going overseas at this time and have decided to serve here in the States because of family medical issues.  We are very excited about what God is doing and can’t wait to be serving in full time ministry.
