Marshall and Linda Campbell Connecting You to Tribal Missions Linda has a new ministry. Linda and her friend, Heather,will take over the leadership of the childcare program at the Missionary Training Center, beginning in June. They have already begun developing the program that they would like to have in place when the semester begins in August. Much of their time is in reviewing, revising and creating policies and structure for the program, as well as finding ladies to staff the department.
Linda and I continue to work in the student mentoring program and really look forward to the time we have with our student group. We find that we are encouraged and energized through these times together and pray that, in some way we can be an encouragement to those that are in our group.
New IT Office
Marshall continues in the IT Department, with several projects happening in the next several months. Later this month, we will be moving into new offices. Our new offices will be out of the main administration building. We are also starting afternoon office hours (rather than all day availability) to resolve non-urgent day to day issues. We are finding that we need to have some blocks of time with minimal interruption to complete important projects. One of those projects is a new Intranet (private website) for the Training Center. Our Intranet is used to display MTC calendars, course information, homework assignment turn-in & return, MTC classifieds and much more. We are also looking to upgrade our internet connection. The rural location of the Training Center presents some challenges when it comes to getting high-speed internet at an affordable price.
Multi-Purpose Building
Construction continues on the multi-purpose building and we are working to finalize details on network infrastructure and design and building security. We would appreciate your prayers on these and other projects. We want to provide quality technology solutions and be good stewards of our resources, including people and finances.
