It was a real privilege working with many of these students. Most of the individuals here are planning to be career missionaries with NTM.

This was a bitter/sweet trip. I was finally able to go to PNG, but not as originally planned. It was an incredible adventure, yet it was heart-wrenching to be with people that I knew had no access to the gospel, yet I could not tell them... For now, this fuels my fire to train others and keeps me excited to hopefully someday return.

We spent 4 years (2002-2006) training with New Tribes Mission in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Missouri. A little different from home, but a great experience!

Part of training for remote tribal living is Jungle Camp. We fell trees, used an Alaskan saw mill (chain saw with a guard) to rough cut some 2x4's, framed up a few houses and wrapped them up in plastic for rain protection. We then packed our supplies and moved in for a few weeks!
