NTM - New Tribes Mission | Planting Tribal Churches

This picture is one that represents a special memory of ours. It was taken about five years ago, several months before we started dating. Josh was at Bible School while I had graduated and was home for the year. Out of the blue, Josh started emailing once a week or so saying he wanted to “keep in touch”.

One day I wrote a light hearted blog post about how I had found out that it was Corn Chip Day…an odd national holiday. I must add that I didn’t really think anyone read my blog accept for a couple friends. I didn’t know that Josh was stalking me. So he saw his chance to call me asking me about Corn Chip Day (very creative Josh, but it also tipped me off that you were reading my blog).

So I quickly looked up some other national holidays and found a day that had 3. January 28th. I told Josh that it was Clash Day, Kazoo Day and Rattlesnake Roundup day…and that after he celebrated it, could he please send me pictures. Much to my surprise…that’s what he did.

That was when I knew that all this emailing wasn’t about “catching up.” Hmmm…and I think I was right To this day, Josh has January 28th on his calendar and we remember and laugh. The things we do for love!
