Graduation and Goodbye’s

Katie & Bethany

The cost of loving deeply, is the pain of goodbye’s! Although we were ready for summer break, we were not anxious to say goodbye to our senior, Bethany, and her sister! The graduates of Numonohi Christians Academy experienced many mixed emotions. Most of them grew up in PNG and will now move across the world from “home” and readjust to a less familiar culture.

Their friends will move to many different places throughout the U.S. and Canada and things will never be the “same”. Thankfully, their parents will help them settle for 2-12 months before returning to continue their ministry in PNG. Pray that they will grow stronger in their faith, find good churches, & Christian friends. It was not easy to say goodbye to half of our “dorm family”, not knowing when we will see them again. Bekah and Han-nah went back to the U.S. with their family. Pray for God to protect their heartsand guide their parents in a future ministry stateside. We are thankful for the time we’ve had with them all!
