Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
March 20th, 1993 a 3 1/2 foot dumping of snow hit Elmira, New York, which was exactly one week before Becki and I were to get married. Many people were advising us to call off the wedding because of the snow but we decided that we wanted to “go for it”. Then on March 27th, 1993 amid 8+ feet snow piles, clear roads and 65 degree, beautiful sunshine; we got married!
Now 17 years later, we have 4 children and are about to step out into a whole new phase of life.
Our oldest daughter is Victoria, Tori, she is a junior in high school and has really enjoyed all that God has taken her and our family through over these last 4 years of training with NTM.
Our second daughter, Clorinda, Chloe, is in 6th grade and full of life! She is exciting, artsy and overall crazy funny. She loves to draw and is rather sociable, taking after her mother.
Gabrielle, Ellie, is our third daughter, she loves things that are crafty and creative. She just bought herself a Lego City Police headquarters… oh, boy!
Our son, Derek, is in 1st grade. After about of month of public school he is sharing Jesus with his classmates and praying for them on his own, expecting God to do some great things! Derek continues to love Lego toys and Star Wars the Clone Wars action figures.
Becki is devoting much of her time to our kids, experimenting with “new” foods for in our own little “Iron Chief” group and giving a helping hand where ever she can, including preparing information to share with churches and individuals about our ministry.
John is developing sermons and Bible lessons in order to better share Christ with those around us, and has been able to spend of time catching up on some books that he has been wanting to finish reading.
As a family, we are preparing to move to Waukesha Wisconsin to serve God at the New Tribes Bible Institute.
John will be working among the single men who attend the Bible Institute. His vision and purpose is to encourage the guys walk with the Lord, to help in their understanding of the Christian life and to show them God’s heart beat, making disciples of all nations!
Becki will be working with in the Bible Institute helping in childcare (teaching the pre-schoolers chronological Bible stories) as well as having families in our home for meals and fellowship.
Our desire is to see people living their identity in Christ. We believe that it is a believer’s daily walk with the Lord that will promote and proclaim the Gospel to every tribe, language and nation!
