The dock has been moved a bit to the right so it can be secured better. But that's not the point...look how CLOSE it is!

 
These photos should give you an idea about how much the water level drops & rises. (First two photos are in dry season, second two are during rainy season-right now.) This year it is expected to rise to a record high.  In 2009 it was almost touching our house…this year it just might make it.  Guess we’ll see!
 
Please be praying for the people who live along the river.  With flooding comes disease and  multiple other hardships.  We are not worried for ourselves really, (we have a good, safe source for clean drinking water and have the ability to get to good, safe, fresh food)  but we are praying for those around us who have it much harder than us.
 
And here’s a quick shout out to the team coming to visit/help us.  With all the rian we’ve been having, we CAN NOT WAIT to have a new roof!! ;-)   We have numerous towels & buckets in our house trying to keep things dry….we are excited to not have to do this in the near future!
