Jerry & Joyce McDaniels opening God's Word through literacy A recent phone call from Panama gave us an update on the new Kuna believers as they make sacrifices to obey God’s Word. They still face great opposition as they take stands for their faith, but God is encouraging their hearts in His Word and giving them wisdom as they deal with the community. If anything, their faith and witness is growing!
Several religious groups that teach a salvation of works rather than faith in the finished work of Christ have suddenly taken interest in these same Kuna villages. These groups have put their own people into the villages to raise up followers and begin churches.
The Kuna believers aren’t discouraged at all! They are finding many opportunities to clarify the truths of salvation and have an ever deepening desire to really know God and to please Him.
