It’s the annual Kuna leadership conference!
November is the month that we will again see our Kuna friends in Panama. This year’s conference will be held on one of the islands. That means sleeping in hammocks, drinking “madun” (a warm, cooking banana beverage), and enjoying close fellowship with the leadership of the Kuna churches and their wives!
We have the privilege of teaching through the book of Ephesians, remembering together what it means to be “in Christ” and how that affects our daily life and worthy walk, delving into the identity we share as part of the “Body of Christ” (the Church), and finishing with those precious truths of our spiritual armor.
Pray for our preparations for this conference. Pray that God will use us to communicate clearly the precious truths of His Word. Because we are not working in the Kuna language every day, it is harder to pull those words out at a moment’s notice!
Pray for prepared hearts for all of us attending the conference. And pray for safety in all the travel that brings us together…some on muddy jungle trails, others by canoes in the ocean, or by buses and planes.
