Training Missionary Pilots

A finished semester

I’ve just finished the semester at Moody Aviation.  The students did very well in their introduction to high performance airplanes.  It was a wet spring in Spokane so they got plenty of training to say “no flying right now”, but they also gained valuable experience flying under and around clouds and in rain and wind.

I had a special opportunity to fly a 185 in California the past few days and was able to share a bit about what we do as missionary pilots.  It was a great couple of days, I even got a quick trip in a Pilatus PC-12 turboprop.  Very cool!

I’m now in Arizona with Jen and the kids for some time with family and friends before going back for the favorite semester of the year:  Mountain flying and the long cross-country.  I scouted out a few new airports in Northern California and am looking forward to taking the students there.

Thanks for remembering us in your prayers!
