About
A LITTLE BACKGROUND…
Since October 2000, our family has served in Indonesia with New Tribes Mission. After 1 year of emersion into Indonesian Culture and Language we began to feel at home. Now as we approach the 10 year mark of our ministry overseas we can only marvel and thank God for the way He has brought us to where we are today!

JASON:
I was born and raised in Canada. I was privileged to be a part of a Christian family. I became a Christian when I was 7, but walking with God never became very real to me until I was in Bible College where I learned of the need for world evangelization. It was in Bible College that I was challenged into missions as well as where I met Jodi. We were married after Bible College in 1996 and began our journey together which has led us to Indonesia.
My responsibilities in Indonesia, among other things, include administration, orientation of new families to our region, national church liason, surveyor as well as leadership.
During my free time I like to hang out with friends, go snorkeling and play or do anything related to sports.

JODI: I was born and raised in Indonesia to missionary parents, Barrie and Cherri Williamson. My growing up years were idyllic and carefree–and I did not realize that most children do not grow up in a lush, tropical paradise. In spite of the beauty that surrounded me, I was not oblivious to the fear, poverty and hopelessness of the people with whom we lived. I was privileged to witness first hand the freedom and joy that knowing Jesus brought as one by one the Lauje people came to understand God’s gift of salvation to them. When I was six years old I realized that I was just like them–lost in my sins and in need of a Saviour. Since that day back in 1980 when I accepted Jesus as my Saviour, God has faithfully led me through the many twists and turns that life brings. Today I find myself back in Indonesia working to spread the Gospel until the last tribe hears.
Since moving to Indonesia some of my responsibilities have been raising our three daughters (and now our son!), supply buyer, Jason’s secretary and as a leadership wife I try to be a listening ear and source of encouragement to the many ladies serving in Indonesia.
In my free time I love to read, visit with friends, go for walks and try new recipes.
