Jason and Angie Bechtel Bringing Hope to Unreached People Groups Yikes! I just realized, as I was pulling up pictures for the swimming lesson blog, that we never posted anything from Lorelei’s birthday. I think the post got forgotten because her birthday party was the same day we moved to my parents for the summer!
Lorelei has been asking for a ‘frog cake’ ever since Delena had her birthday back in February! I have a book of different kids cakes that you can make and Lorelei saw the frog and has been stuck on it! 
So we made her beloved frog cake. I did the basic icing and Jason tried his hand at decorating and did a fantastic job…I think I may let him take over… We iced the cake in Clinton and then drove it to Bayfield in our air conditioned van on a VERY hot day. Even in the a/c the icing still made pools around the side of the frog. I now have a bit of understanding of what our friends go through in those hot overseas climates! Thankfully the face portion managed to stay in tact and Lorelei was none the wiser!
