Being thankful for family at Thanksgiving

For us Canadians, the second Monday in October is holiday set aside to be thankful. The three of us have so much to be thankful for. Family is just the beginning of it—all 5 generations.

This thanksgiving with family was extra special because we got 5 generations together for a photo.

5 Generations: Delena, Jason, Jason`s Mom (Sandy), Jason`s Mom`s Dad (Don), and Jason`s Mom`s Dad`s Mom (Bub)

So how do you get 5 generations alive all at the same time? I think one key is that Delena is the first born, born to a first born (me), who was also born to a first born. When each generation starts having kids around the 20-year mark, 5 generations is possible.
