What has two legs, two hands, three teeth, and prefers to walk in the upright position?

Delena!

That’s right, she is officially walking, and has been for a couple of weeks now. She also stared in Angie’s second motion picture, The Accessories of an 11-Month Old. To get a sneak peak at this rising star, check out this video.

Motivation for Training needing prayer

Posted by on Saturday, February 9th, 2008

We would really appreciate your prayers for our (my) attitude and motivation.

Coming into the second year of training (the Culture and Language Acquisition portion) knowing that we are staying in Canada and not going to be learning another culture and language, we expected to struggle with motivation.

From August right through into January, we were blessed to enjoy the training, for the most part. Our enthusiasm for the training was strong. A couple of weeks ago that all changed, and I lost my momentum.

Last week we started into Grammar, Part 2. We learned how to analyze and chart out the relationships between thoughts (clause level). On Friday we were given our final homework problem for Grammar. We will have class on Monday, Tuesday, and part of Wednesday to work on it. It is BIG!

The end of this coming week, we are are starting into a unit on Translation. But I will be at EBC on Thursday and Friday at their missions emphasis week, representing NTMC.
