Since the start of our Christmas break, our car had broken down on every drive we took over an hour long.
Frustrations were growing. A sick sense of anticipation and uncomfortablilty were ever present when we went for a drive. Every sound caused our stomachs to tighten as we "knew" it was telling a tale of woe and misery to come.
So we set Angie’s dad to a favourite past-time of his—car shopping. At the end of our summer, I went with Angie’s dad to test drive a couple of cars he thought might suit. And one did.
We are now driving a 1997 Olds 88 LS
