“Texas here we come”:
God has given us a few speaking arrangements in Texas, so “Texas here we come.” During our travels we will be staying with good friends and family of ours: Johnny & Heather Merrell, Dan & Lisa Stoker, John & Kristin Murphy, Doug & Amy Hortin, and my Aunt Yvonne. We can’t wait to see all of these people, and look forward to what God does on this trip.
What have we been up to lately?
I have spoken at 2 churches the past fews weeks in Grand Rapids, MI; one is a supporting church and the other is a potential. We have fallen in love with the people in both churches and we pray that God will also bring the potential church to our team. We have had some families over to our house for some good home cooking by Melanie.
Also, we had a garage sale to try to get rid of some of our stuff as we look to leave in April. We came up with $200 dollars and cut our items in half, so that was a success.
We are looking to buy plane tickets in January in hopes of leaving in April. Thanks for your prayers and support!

Summer Camp Life
As God changed the plans of us not leaving for Indonesia, this past April, we had no idea what He wanted us to do from then on. God directed us to a camp near Niles, MI, called Life Action Camp. We committed to volunteering for 8 weeks (finishing up the 6th week as of now), while raising support on the weekends and during the week. We have definitely seen God’s hand in all of this as our family has been encouraged by being here and also been able to encourage and serve the campers. God has provided a few families on our financial team while being here, which is an answer to prayers.
Good thing Israel loves the water, since the camp is right on Clear Lake. Melanie takes him down to the beach front just about everyday to soak up the sun and cool down in the water.
Sometimes we find Israel doing a little bit of this.
