Two weeks ago, we arrived here at the supply center for the Sepik region in Papua New Guinea! Three days later the Interface team arrived and life got even busier for us! But now we are feeling a bit settled in our new home.
Thanks so much for all your prayers! We enjoyed our many flights and we are happy to not have to board a commercial plane anytime in the near future! God sent many people to help us along the way! All our bags arrived at every location and we didn’t have to pay a huge amount of money for our one extra bag! Pretty amazing considering that we traveled for four days straight, into a time zone 14 hours ahead of Nova Scotia!
We are so thankful to be able to hang out with our friends from Interface. And so thankful to be a part of the Interface program here! Perhaps it will be held here again next year. 🙂 Jacob is enjoying the opportunity to work with his hands again, although it is a bit hotter than the Highlands of PNG. He is learning how things work and getting his feet on the ground. Beth helped Nate, the chef for this Interface program, finish up the menu after he arrived with the team. Beth is learning to multi task in a new way as she enjoys caring and playing with Jonathan as well as working on a bit of the side trip menu planning and food prep.
