Wouldn’t it be great to be known for your good works like Barnabas was? Acts 4:36 tells us his name was Joses, but he was known as the Son of Encouragement.
You know how you get a name like that, right?
You earn it.
So I was impressed by the name the Wano people have given Mike Wild: “He who has compassion for the Wano people.”
Mike and his wife, Libby, and Tim and Rebecca Ingles are endeavoring to plant a church among the Wanos. They all have compassion for the Wanos, and I’m sure each of them has moments in which they don’t feel particularly compassionate as well.
