Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for your kind remembrance of our ministry this last month. We appreciate your care for us and your partnership in our ministry.
I have been thinking and have written some of my thoughts down, I am including them in an attachment on my email this month. Please let me know if you would like to take a look at it. The Lord has been encouraging my heart in Him.
We have are some photos too. I’ll see if I can get them published on this site. We have been working on our sheds. We discovered some rotting wood, and have taken it out and replaced it. Now we are trying to do the primer and paint to protect the wood. It has been cooker weather, so it is nice to work outside. Last weekend was downright chilly! (We do have a few days of winter each season. )
Grand-daughter Lilly is 2 next week. We had a wonderful time with the girls a week or two ago when Brett and Debby went for a night and day to celebrate their anniversary. We got play sand and made them private sandboxes. (see pictures below) and the next day we made them swings, and went to a park (with their Mom and Dad and Uncle Tim. Auntie Beka and Cody came too, a bit later on!) We are thankful for the direction God is giving Brett and Debby. Brett just started a new job this week, and they are looking to move in the direction of involvement in missions, somewhere. God will continue to lead them and provide for them. Brett would love to be involved teaching the Bible full time. Thanks for your prayers for them. I know you have been holding them up in prayer.
Amy has some video clips of baby now! She has it up on her Facebook page. Baby is about 3-4” long and is moving around. She is hoping to feel less nausea soon. Hector is being a great hubby, and they are enjoying their classes at the Missionary Training Center in Chihuahua.
David has been painting again! I think his last picture was done after he got over the flu! Graduation for him is in Mid-May. Pray for God to direct him in the way he should go.
We are busy at work serving our NTM members. Some of the many things we are involved in includes: writing letters, filling out forms for jury duty excusals, or mortgage applications, as well as answering questions from supporting churches about their missionary’s financial support. Tracking our members as they go on and off the field, sending encouragement and information for their Home Assignment. Processing new members, and helping our older members through the process of retirement. In all of these areas, we seek to encourage and serve our mission family. Thanks for your prayers that we would be a blessing and encouragement to others.
I will go for now. I hope you’ll like the pictures. Please, let us know how we can pray for you.
In His Love,
George and Linda Heckman
