Dear Friends;
It’s February already!!! Happy Valentine’s Day to you all!
Thank you for your continued prayer support for our ministry. We could not be here without you! You are so kind.
The Lord has been continuing to work in our lives. We are so thankful for His presence and strength. We have faced some tough things this last month and some really joyous ones too. God is so good to give us both-tough time and joyous times. That helps us grow and yet not be overcome with discouragement, as we continue trusting Him.
The kids are doing well. We will become grandparents again in mid-September. Please pray for Amy and Hector as they continue in the NTM training in Mexico. They are doing well, but nausea is not on Amy’s list of favorite things! Please pray for her also, as she is doing a translation project for the National Training Center in Mexico. It is a big job, and she will need wisdom to complete it. It will enable the Center to teach the Linguistics Course in Spanish next year.
Tim is saving money for a car and for school this fall. Please remember to pray for him to make wise choices, and grow in the areas needed so he is ready for NTBI this August. David is doing well. He enjoys school at NTBI and his ministry in the dorm and at church. He has started painting lately, and is doing well with that. Beka is recording her songs. God continues to give her new songs, and what a blessing they are. She has a concert at our church this Saturday for the Valentine Dinner. Debby and Brett are doing a super job raising their girls. Thanks for your prayers for them as they continue in church ministry and youth ministry in Palm Bay.
We are able to get back to the Youth group occasionally now. We have been very busy, but it is great to interact with the Youth as they are learning and growing. They are going through the book of Romans.
Our old doggie, Kelsey is really getting worse. She cannot always get up to stand from lying down. Please pray we would be sensitive and wise as to how to handle her in her old age. (17 years old). Proverbs says, “A wise man regards the life of his beast.” We desire to be wise with her also.
Take a look at this link regarding the NTM training. We served in the NTM training for our first 16 years in NTM. www.facebook.com/newtribes
Thanks much for your prayers, your support, and your friendship. We value your part in our lives. Please let us know how we can pray for you, too.
In Christ Alone,
George and Linda Heckman and family
