Dear Friends,
We had a wonderful Christmas time with the family-grandkids, and friends. It lasted a long time this year and we were able to include the extended family in Mexico (Amy Hector and his Dad) via Skype. Great times! Lots of good memories; From monkey Bread for breakfast to the Christmas story, and the presents. Chloe almost always said with every gift, “Ohhh! Just what I wanted!” She (4) and Lily (almost 2) are a joy! We had friends over for presents and dinner. It was fun!
Thanks for the Christmas greetings you have sent. I can’t answer them all, but each one was appreciated! We sure appreciate the part you have as well, in making our New Year special too!
Beka has a recording session at Full Sail University again this week. Pleasr pray for her throat as she has been fighting a cold for a couple of weeks. She will be doing the song written for Amy & Hector’s wedding with David and Tim. That will be fun for them. Her music continues to be such a blessing, and her songs really lift up the Lord and His word. If you haven’t heard them yet, you can find some on www.facebook.com/bekaheckman. That is her band page and has some of the videos she has done as well. Very encouraging!
Tim is loving his job at Taco Bell, and doing very well. His boss is very pleased with his hard work and his big smile .
David heads back to cold Wisconsin later this week. It has been great to have him home. Please pray for him as he is trusting God to provide his finances to finish school this next semester. His job does not quite cover all of his expenses. He is learning much and growing in the Lord. Thanks!
We look forward to his new year God has provided, and look to Him for direction, for provision, and for wisdom in all we do. We are praying about when to re-involve ourselves in the Youth Group ministry. We are praying about other ways we are involved in Church and in the lives of others. Thanks much for holding us up in prayer. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your prayer requests. We would love to join you before the Throne of Grace!
Love and prayers,
George and Linda Heckman
