We have been trying for about a month to apply for our Religious Visas for Brazil. Each time we made a trip to the Brazilian Consulate in Chicago, there was some obstacle or reason our application was not accepted. (Office closed, car trouble, missing form, etc.)
Well, we are happy to report that our applications are finally in the process to Brazil! Praise the Lord!
This does not mean we have been approved or guaranteed Visas, it only means our application is on the way to the officials in Brazil.
In about one month, we should find out the status of our request. Until then, we are playing the waiting game.
