Moira’s grandfather died this past week somewhat unexpectedly. We think he was a believer, but how short life is! The Scripture compares our human life span to vapor and grass that withers, and what an accurate mind picture that is in the scope of eternity…
We are driving a long day’s drive tomorrow to attend his funeral and be with the family for a couple of days. Moira has been asked to sing at the funeral service and we are praying as we spend time “out West”, we will have opportunities to share the Gospel and the love of Christ with relatives and friends.
Here we are in training that focuses on reaching the lost in tribal situations, a goal we aspire to and are moving toward as well as we can, but we see every day that it isn’t only tribal people who need redemption! The tribal man who lives and dies in filth and the billionaire who “has it all” both meet the same end without Christ. No matter where we are we are encouraged by our Lord to be light and share the true Light of the world, Jesus Christ. That is what we want to be!
