We had the privilege of spending time with two of Del’s roommates from college this past week. It was great to spend time catching up and hearing what God is doing in there lives. This may have been the last opportunity to spend time with them before we leave the country next year. Crazy thought! (more…)
Last Day Before Leaving
May 28th we found ourselves with no “home” and on the road. It was a little uncomfortable driving away from our little apartment in Missouri to the “unknown” ahead. The next time we will have a place of our own will be in a year from now when we are studying French in France. (more…)

The apartment has exploded and our belongings are strewn all over the place. You can envision the picture if you have ever packed a house. (Arielle is almost embarrassed to post this picture because she enjoys a clean house) We are tiered and worn out, Ezra received shots today and is not happy. God is good through it all and will see us through. Pray that we keep our eyes on Him while we pack. On Friday we are leaving for Chicago.

Yes, we have finally decided that, Lord willing, we are going to West Africa (Senegal/ Guinea). We fell like God is leading us in this direction and so we are going to pursue it. There are a few details to be worked out but nothing that should stop us. (more…)
